Pioneers in the development of natural wool insulation, INSULWOOL® was first introduced to the market in 1991 and were the pioneers in developing natural wool insulation products for the insulation market.

We have amassed a mountain of technical information on wool products but more importantly, we have developed an important testing protocol for blown insulation products for which we have a copyright.

The testing protocol means that our blown products can be rated at a density with a simple drop test, conducted in a special frame. This accepted testing method gives INSULWOOL® a major advantage in this very competitive and price driven market.

In 2009 we embarked on an expansion drive and we now have Licenced Installers and Distributers across the North Island from Gisborne to National Park and across to Wanganui, South to Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa and Wellington and back up to Kapiti, Manawatu and Rangatiki. We have also have the South Island covered from Canturbury North and across the west Coast.

In 2010 we entered into an agreement with Powershed Consultants which is resulting in our distribution networking becoming truely National and our Installer network growing to cover the entire country.

THE INSULWOOL® COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

While there are other wool insulation products on the market, few have taken the time to have their product range tested and rated for R-values. This process can take years to implement and cost many thousands of dollars, prohibitive for many fly by nighters

INSULWOOL® Blown Wool has been thoroughly tested by a certified Australian Laboratory (the Australian Wool Testing Authority), and we now have the information and specifications to confidently certify the R-values of our products. The formed blanket material we offer has likewise been thoroughly tested.

INSULWOOL® products are made from a combination of natural recycled wool and double scoured virgin wool to provide effective, efficient and affordable, superior insulation.  By using natural wool there are no health related problems and our products are safe for both our installers and the home owners to use.
